MUZAFFARGARH: A man shot dead his son and daughter-in-law in Chowk Sarwar Shaheed’s Shehzad Colony on Saturday. According to police, suspect Ghulam Shabbir was arrested shortly after the incident. The City Sarwar Shaheed station house officer stated that the killings were the result of a property dispute between the suspect and the deceased couple, Abid Hussain and Nasreen Mai. Both deceased were 30 years old. Their bodies were taken to the THQ hospital for post-mortem examinations. A case was registered. Rescue officials arrived at the scene and transported the bodies to the hospital. Locals confirmed that the incident was rooted in domestic and property-related issues. BODY: The body of a newborn baby was found in the Ganesh Wah Canal. The police believe the baby was thrown into the canal shortly after birth. The body was recovered and shifted to the hospital.
